When I create a new BOM, using the BOM Creator functionality, the system does not allow me to link operations to the BOM. After completing the BOM, I need to go back to the BOM list, create a new version of the relevant BOM and then add the operation. Is there any way to dd the operation while creating the BOM, using the BOM creator?

We have worked on something similar.
What we did was to customize the BOM Creator’s functionality itself. Stop it from creating submitted BOMs and added custom fields for routing and scrap inside the BOM Creator itself.
What it produced was BOMs that already had Operations and Scrap and were not submitted so you could still edit them.
