📢 Announcement: Server Firewall Rules on Frappe Cloud

We’ve added support for configuring server-level firewall rules in Frappe Cloud.

You can now define firewall rules directly from the server dashboard to control network access.

Supported capabilities include:

  • Allow or block specific IP addresses

  • Restrict access to specific ports (for example SSH)

  • Add deny rules to block unwanted traffic

This gives teams more control over network access and makes it easier to enforce security policies at the server level.

My bad! Added a screenshot.

What are the default values for the firewall? I would have expected that if I enable the firewall and do not add any rule, not traffic is allowed at all?

I also added a rule for testing to disable all traffic on port 443. No success, the site is still reachable.

Any ideas?

Default value is simply no rule. To block all traffic, you will have to put 0.0.0.0 as source.
