You should not need to install erpnext and shopping cart from Installer. Something didn't go right with your migration.

Migration to version 4 is not as simple as restoring a version 3 file into version 4. Hence the migration script!

Then I took the database backup of erpnext 3 and tried to restore it to this new erpnext virtualbox instance. But I keep on getting lock timeout error. I can't scroll up to see the entire error since I can only see command line.
Then I created a new instance of ubuntu in virtual box, installed latest frappe bench and restored the database backup of version 3. In this case the restore happened without any error but now I can't see the erpnext and shopping-cart app installed. When I try to install erpnext i get error Duplicate Name Def Accounts.
