Does either of these solutions listed in the following thread help?

Have you checked available/listening ports?

netstat -tnlp | grep -i listen

Perhaps something is keeping a needed port open?

Hello,

Error

your solution?

please suggest what to do?

As said in other posts, you are already running bench in other session … You can see there is a python process listening port 8000 …

Kill it or reboot …

Other way …

Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot for reply and resolutions.

I tried

python3 stop.py

and then bench successfully started

but now again that issue came and when I tried same commands python3 stop.py and bench start issue not resolved.

here is the screenshot.

Tried to reboot your system? Port 8000 is still being used

I used

sudo fuser -k 8000/tcp

to kill all process but its not resolving

Tried reboot also.

after reboot when i tried to start bench.

Are you in production mode? Can you access to your site?

I am in development mode.
No I am not able to access site.

here are latest screenshots.

bench reinstall

and then

python3 stop.py

bench start

If you are sure that your bench is not running try to change the port

Use bench serve --port xxxx to testing …
Or change port config on your common_site_config.json

But seems that bench is still running … are you using multibench scheme?
