Hello Frappe Community,
We are thrilled to announce the beta release of RedLine, an open-source mobile extension of ERPNext designed specifically for field sales teams. Built with Flutter, it tackles one of the most requested features in the field: True Offline Capabilities.
Our team at Red Tech For Technology has been working hard to ensure that sales representatives can continue their operations smoothly, even in areas with zero internet connectivity.
Core Highlights:
- Fully Offline-First Queue: Reps can create Sales Orders, Material Requests, Customer Registrations, and log Visits entirely offline. The local Drift (SQLite) database queues these actions and auto-syncs them once a real server reachability check passes.
- Native ERPNext Integration: Communicates directly with Frappe’s REST/RPC APIs (Customers, Items, Invoices, Workflows).
- Field-Ready Operations: Enforced GPS location capture, Batch & Warehouse management, and on-device PDF generation.
- Workflows & Notifications: Native support for multi-level approval chains and Frappe’s Notification Log.
Current Status: Beta Testing
The core sync engine and offline logic are robust, but the application is currently in its Beta phase. At this moment, the UI is optimized for Arabic (RTL), heavily catering to the MENA region.
We Need Your Feedback!
We decided to open-source this project under the GPL-3.0 License because we believe in the power of the Frappe ecosystem. We are officially inviting developers, implementers, and users to:
- Break it: Test the offline queue, sync logic, and edge cases. Find the bugs we missed!
- Review it: Check out our architecture (Flutter/Dart + Dio + Drift).
- Contribute: Help us bring English (LTR) localization (i18n) and expand the features.

We would love to hear your honest feedback, bug reports, and suggestions. Let’s build the ultimate offline mobile tool for ERPNext together!
Thank you!
