Erpnext appears in apps page and in the defaults dropdown but other apps dont appear.
Solutions tried:

add_to_apps_screen in hooks.py
-
adding desktop.py in the config of the apps, to no avail.

crosschecked website, system, user and role settings, and all of them are set to blank (only erpnext appears as default app in dropdown)

Migrated bench whenever necessary, still no change
My issue is the same as this post : LINK (it has a video for better understanding), however mine is with insights and custom app, and not erpnext, like in this post. I did not understand the solution given in the other post (Does not apply to my issue)
I have attached relevant images, pls help me figure this out thank you.
Let me know if i should provide my hooks.py or desktop.py or any other code (I can only attach one image as new user so didnt attach here)
