Difference in Frappe cloud Erpnext vs open source GitHub erpnext

I tried both frappe cloud and self hosted via docker i found there is difference in erpnext version.

Frappe cloud Erpnext comes with India_Compliance runn smoothly without any error.

Frappe cloud Erpnext using ERPNext v15.89.0 (HEAD) when we installed ERPNext via docker I got Erpnext:v15.90.1 and doesn’t comes with india_Compliance. When i install india_Compliance in gst setting I got error message in gst setting i also get same error
Invalid “depends_on” expression

Frappe Erpnext is claiming it is free and open source but reality is they try to push user to use frappe cloud paid version. Where every thing is running smoothly.

If you want to use 15.89.0 in your self-hosted installation, do it. Nobody is stopping you.

Make sure you’re using India Compliance on the v15 branch with ERPNext v15. The apps on Frappe Cloud is the exact same as the GitHub version.

If you had problems, you are using it wrong.

Frappe needs to focus on their enterprise customers and gold partners to ensure their survival
This way they can improve their product which we the community are very fortunate to get for free
