There are major differences between output documents generated by clicking ‘Print’ button and ‘PDF’ button. Using print feature generates pretty much consistent results, WYSIWYG-compliant (people still say that btw.?) . One can obviously choose PDF printer as output, which then generates a correct PDF, albeit with sometimes missing footer. Clicking ‘PDF’ however results in totally different (and pretty much always mangled) documents. Different word-wraping, 2 pages instead of 1, different font styles etc…
From doing searches on the Internet, I’m not the only one noticing this.
Any ideas where to start looking for a fix?
As usual in such topics, I probably couldn’t care less about HTML view, but PDFs are what is being distributed to customers and suppliers. I’m not sure how would one design a proper template – I can’t seem to determine any consistency
Oh well, I’ll look into this some more, since “it’s a feature, not a bug”
