Do Frappe Apps Share Data?

Hi. I am a super noob for the whole Frappe universe. In fact, I stumbled upon it only yesterday while trying to find an Odoo alternative.

I would like to use multiple Frappe apps on my Asustor NAS. My biggest question is that when you do, do these apps share any data? I am under the impression that these apps are separate and disjoint so no data sharing occurs. I do not know much about Odoo either, but it seems its apps do share some basic data.

I run an small online English school with a few other teachers. So I would like to use ERPNext and Frappe Learning, at least. Same teachers are going to be involved in both, so ideally their data are managed in one place and applied to both. Is this going to be the case with Frappe apps or not?

Thanks a lot in advance!

When you get started with Frappe, you create a bench. Each bench will have one or more apps and one or more sites. Apps define different document types and other behaviors, and sites hold the data for a particular company or group of companies.

Within a site, all data is accessible to all other data. You can use permissions of various sorts to grant and restrict this access. But, by default, ERPNext and Frappe Learning will all be accessible from the same place.
