For a custom DocType, I created a Document Naming Rule with the following “HR-SCHE-.YYYY.-“. After the year change from 2025 to 2026, the counter didn’t get reset. How do I set it to auto-reset in ERPNext 14?
Try Document Naming Settings for it, see if that works.
It doesn’t work for Custom DocTypes, I tried that too, If I have a custom DocType prefix has “HR-MAR-2026“ then counter displays as “0” (Even though the counter is around 5120) but if the prefix is manually written and counter is set, and click update, it’ll update the counter on all the prefixes of the custom DocTypes.
