I am based out of Nepal, I have figured out that there is a opensource module for nepal compliance, I still need to figure out registration but that is the easy part, I have a solid idea looking at some niche erp solutions that are quite expensive, I was wondering if I can play around and figure this out on my own or should I hire someone to do it for me? I am new to this community, I was shocked to see such an amazing product for free and have been trying to figure it out since a few days. AI tools say they can help but after a couple of sessions I start losing track of what is happening. Please advice.

Hi ARJ19,
That’s great you’re exploring ERPNext for jute manufacturing, it’s definitely powerful, but it can feel overwhelming at the beginning. Since you already have a clear idea of your requirements and found the Nepal compliance module, you could start by setting up a test environment and experimenting with basic workflows (inventory, manufacturing, accounting) before committing fully.
If you’re new and finding it hard to keep track with AI tools, structured guides can sometimes help you stay organized. I came across this website which shares step-by-step resources and practical walkthrough-style content that might help you think more clearly about implementation planning.
That said, if your manufacturing workflow is complex (batch tracking, quality checks, costing), hiring an ERPNext consultant for initial setup and customization could save you time and costly mistakes. You could also start yourself and bring in an expert only for final optimization.
Hope this helps, and welcome to the community!
