Editing Webpages not reflecting changes

I have created a custom app with custom html pages. I am running bench start to serve my app
If i edit my doctype farm on desk the changes reflect but not from my webpage. I have to stop my bench start command and execute it again for the changes to reflect.

I have updated my water source field, you will see the entry is different in both images. I have tried to reload my web page severally that doesn’t help

Is developer mode enabled?

i have not added developer mode in the config file

Try adding the developer mode in the config file and see. I had faced a similar problem a while back.
