Hi ERPNext Community,
I’m looking for guidance from experienced ERPNext consultants and implementers.
I have around 6 months of ERPNext experience working on ERPNext implementations and support. During this period, I worked with standard ERPNext workflows and gained exposure to business processes.
However, despite applying to multiple companies, I’m finding it difficult to secure an ERPNext Implementation / Techno-Functional Consultant role.
My long-term goal is to become a strong ERPNext consultant who can:
-
Gather client requirements
-
Conduct GAP analysis
-
Configure ERPNext
-
Train users
-
Handle implementation projects
-
Understand business processes deeply
-
Eventually lead ERP implementations independently
Currently, I am confused about the next steps.
My Questions
-
What skills should I focus on during the next 6-12 months?
-
How can I become more valuable as an ERPNext Implementation Consultant?
-
Which modules should I master first?
-
Accounts
-
Stock
-
Manufacturing
-
CRM
-
HR
-
Projects
-
-
Should I focus more on:
-
Functional Consulting
-
Technical Development
-
Techno-Functional Consulting
-
-
What projects or practical exercises would you recommend?
-
If you were starting again with 6 months of ERPNext experience, what roadmap would you follow?
