ERPNEXT - Generate Custom Report

Hi I was wondering to use server script for the report or create a new report with custom script to generate/view the report? If my new report is set to standard then how can I view the python file to write the script? Any help would be beneficial.

Thanks for your kind help. There is one issue though as my custom report can work but it does not show in the Select report dropdown list though. My report is not standard as the is standard is selected as No.

My custom report is called Payment Entry Report.

It will be visible when if you add a Payment Entry in the Ref DocType.
