ERPNext v15: No option to create Workspace even when logged in as Administrator

We are facing a consistent issue in ERPNext v15 regarding Workspace creation.

Setup:

• Two Frappe Cloud sites:

  • Production

    Learning

  • ERPNext v15 / Frappe v15

• Logged in explicitly as the core system user Administrator

Issue:

• Workspace list is visible

• BUT there is no option to create a new Workspace

  • No “New / Create Workspace / Add Workspace” button

  • Not visible in Build → Workspace

  • Not visible via /app/workspace

• This happens on BOTH sites

Administrator user existence is confirmed:

• Production: visible in User list

• Learning: confirmed via Frappe Cloud logs (“Login as Administrator by erpnext@omsspltd.com”)

Question:

• Is this a known ERPNext v15 behavior or regression?

• Is Workspace creation restricted further than Administrator/System Manager?

• Is there a config / flag required on Frappe Cloud?

Any guidance from the core team or others who faced this would be appreciated.

Can you check under the Admin User → Roles and Permissions → Workspace Manager is ticked?

You do not see Administrator user in USER LIST.

Please do not write chatgpt inputs without even verifying. This is not helping anybody.

You can see Admin in the USER LIST if you log in as Admin again as shown in the below screenshots

you are already log in as Administrator which makes you enable to see administrator user in user list.

System Manager is lower than administrator and can not see administrator as a user in user list.

Can you create another user and assign it as system manager and log in to reach user list, you wont see administrator in there?

In version 15, you can now create a new workspace directly from the workspace section of any module. The option to add a workspace from the Workspace doctype has been removed.
