when I restart bench using bench restart I found following error

frappe-bench-web:frappe-bench-node-socketio: ERROR (spawn error)
I am new to this framework, but I guess this may cause problem, help needed.

Maybe you have already started bench from another terminal or the port 13000 is used by other service?

Regards!

You have an instance already running! A brutal kill would be

sudo pkill python node redis

Brutal, I say!

Or maybe do a top and a kill -TERM to kill the process? Or try lsof -i :13000 and kill the same.

Use this command.

bench serve --port (give any 4 digit port number and it will start working perfectly).

example: - bench serve --port 8080

this resolved my issue.

regards.

it will serve the site, but you will get tons of errors and he you make any modification to the system it won’t show up until you run bench build.

@abhijit_kumbhar have you found any solution?

@joseph_rio Are you having this issue aswell?

A pkill python redis* usually works!
