We’re porting most Frappe site management features to the new “bench” (e.g backups, updates, analytics, marketplace etc): Pilot: A new bench with admin UI From our side, we are hoping this becomes the de-facto way of self-hosting.
Hey folks!

We originally build it to make deployments easier for all the internals projects that we did. One of the greatest inspiration to build this was, we were asked to build an automation, where new instances of frappe on dedicated VPS had to be setup on a submit of a document, on a master site. We build it and it was a great success. That gave us the confidence and the signal, that there would be other companies/agencies in need of such a product.
Happy to have launched it. We are not planning to open source this as of right now, but there is something else in the pipeline, which we would like to open source very soon.
