I was thinking, maybe we could have two winners for each category: one from the Frappe team and one from outside.
It’s not easy for people who only contribute from time to time to compete with full-time employees. If they do win, it almost makes frappe look bad.

Everything is based on votes casted by the community so there is no need for two winners in each category.
Also, to allow new winners to emerge, we will be eliminating those who have won awards before as well this year.
Votes casted by the community (likes on my earlier comment) seem to support the opposite conclusion.

I realize this is from a while ago, but I’m curious to know how the nominations and selections are progressing for this year. Have there been any changes made to the process based on feedback from the community? It would be great to hear about any updates or improvements that have been implemented to make the awards even better.
