Hardware and Devices Compatible with ERPNext POS?

Hello Everyone!

I was wondering on whether or not ERPNext supports electronic cash drawers, credit-card machines, and POS Printers? I’ve already read and searched in the forum and so far plug and play barcode scanners/ printers (even some wireless barcode scanners/printers) can be used with ERPNext. But how about cash drawers that open when a specific transaction has been done? And is it also possible to integrate ERPNext with credit card terminals/swipers and printers that are bundled with cash boxes?

We don’t exactly have the hardware but we’re interested in this particular topic. :slight_smile:

Any ideas? I appreciate all the help I can get.

I think you would have to study the SDK provided by your hardware device to see how it can be integrated with ERPNext

Epson TM-T82 is a thermal printer which works well for POS receipt printing.

Here is another link which has Cash drawer related methods but have not tried them.

Epson TM-T82 also works with cash drawers. Just connect the cable provided in the cash drawer to the printer. It works out of the box.
