Here is the setup…
An item is sold as a combined item i.e. male and female connector. Sold in a pack.
My BOM requires that they be two separate items i.e. “male” and “female”. Yes, I can
use STE = Repack to split the combined item into two items, but that us then done
manually before the production. Is there a way to handle this via a BOM configuration ?
One way i was thinking is to set up a BOM that renders the combined item as the input item ( raw material ) and the “male” as the “produced” item with the “female” landing up in the scrap store. In which case a STE transfer is required to put the “female” into the main Store. So its not ideal but can work.
Any suggestions please ?
