How to easy install with remote mariadb

I’m deploying my first erpnext instance for production

But my mariadb instance is on a remote location

Is there any parameter on the easy install script to setup the bench and the site with the remote server

Or setup the bench without installing mariadb

My main goal is to optimize vm resources

You need mariadb on the application server to test the remote connection, you have to set the db host parameter in the common site config so all new sites will be created on the remote DB.
