Hi all, i just migrated my entire server from a third party to frappe cloud. To enable customisation by doctype, i want to enable developer_mode and server script enabled. i am sure i have done this before simply by giving key and value in the bench settings of frappe cloud. But now i cannot see that option . i don’t understand why the bench settings say the custom key is blacklisted or deprecated. is this a new frappe bench updation? Please guide me to understand the situation to a functional solution.
@AfsalCp I dont know about the developer mode option in cloud but I dont recommend updating doctypes with “edit doctype” , instead use customizations
Yeah, I can’t really imagine how developer_mode would work on a hosted instance, at least not without shell access. I agree with @bahaou’s advice. If what you need to do can’t be done with site customization, your best option would likely be to do your development locally and then sync it to a custom bench.
