I’ve been attempting to add new fields to the User Doctype using Customization, but unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to be working as expected. Despite activating developer mode, I’m encountering the error message depicted in the snapshot below.
Could you please guide me on how to resolve this issue? I’m eager to enhance the functionality of the User Doctype and would appreciate any assistance you can provide.
Core doctypes cannot be customized via the Customize Form. If you wish to customize a core doctype, please navigate to the doctype itself and make changes, ensuring that developer mode is enabled. We do not recommend customizing core doctypes; however, if you choose to proceed, please do so with caution and avoid altering any properties of existing fields. If you need to add new fields, you may do so.
