I wanna know How the trust level and all things work in frappe forum

I am new in Frappe Forum , wanna know how it works? is it same as stackoverflow ? And What is role of trust level ?

Welcome here! Trust level is assigned to an user automatically based on post metrics (posts read, post replied, etc …)

Oh, So like when We start a new account , We need to take time as new user , explore things and then when we get to use the platform then our trust level gets increased, Right ? So is there any est. time ?

Well … it depends (aside other things) on how many time you spend here :slight_smile:

Anyway, don’t worry about. Don’t need any special trust level for learning, etc …
Read a lot, get help and help others.

Don’t trust this trust level system too much, especially don’t depend too much on it for your own image.

In my case the level once got mauled in a spam attack on this forum. I didn’t do anything, so my account was first automatically cancelled (or so) and later restored by the team who understood I didn’t do anything when the source became clear to them via whichever logs. So my account was back, but I lost a lot of the trust level. Who knows to whom else this happened.

So now I’m kind of more relaxed about this, like for many other of these nudging badges, anyway, which are used in the gamification of so many looks. It’s not reliable, can sometimes be gamed, too, and, well, I’m me and not a number or a badge something (or someone for that matter) attaches to me from a limited perspective of seeing me or even only reducingly counting me or some limited part of me.
