Welcome to ERPNext and this community. Here’s hoping you have a great experience with ERPNext and here on the community.
ERPNext will work brilliantly well for the medical device industry. ERPNext supports Serial Numbers so you can achieve complete traceability of your entire supply chain. But a word of friendly advice, turn serial number on only for those items that you absolutely have to. The reason I say this has nothing to do with ERPNext but the factory floor overheads of managing serial numbers is extremely complicated.
