Suggestion on salary slip page

Hi, i have a UI suggestion for Salary Slip page in Human Resources.

The column of salary slip series number shows like "Sal Slip/EMP/0001/00..." as the first column. But actually there are quite a lot blank space in the right. (see attachment)

To make it clear to user, should set the salary slip series number column wider by default? or making the column width adjustable?

Just a little suggestion!

Thank you so much.

This problem is prevalent in all forms, not just salary slips. I believe forms are listed with a fixed 5 column space, so one or more columns with lengthy details get truncated.

or making the column width adjustable?

This idea, or make the columns width auto adjust if less than 5 columns are selected to show. (you can choose which fields to show in the listing by clicking "In List View" under Customize Form"... although another limitation is that it lists in *order* of the fields in the form; so if you select six fields to list, the last one won't show).

I think this is a serious and annoying issue --- can't immediately think of a good way to fix this.. Hard to implement adjustable columns in a generic way.

Can you post it on GitHub?
