I am trying to make a new report “Sales Register” mainly for our Sales Tax Purposes. Now the difference in this report is that it would be linked to the Customer Master as well.
The reason for connecting this to the customer master is that I need to check the TIN numbers from the customer master and invoices since these have become very important these days.
Now the problem I am facing is that I am unable to show the tax amounts in columnar way any help in this regards would be deeply appreciated. What I am trying to accomplish is that all the taxes should show up in the columns with their amounts and if possible I could change the column headings as well since the account head in the column heading would be too big to read so would like to have small column headings. I know this is possible since this report is already there in the search criteria but now it would be great to have it in the query report.
Alas. There is no good solution to showing taxes as columns in SQL.
thanks,
Anand.

Then what could be the alternative in the current system since I believe that the Sales Register or Purchase Register like reports are very important for tax filings.
