We’re excited to introduce a new update to POSNext, bringing more flexibility at checkout, stronger payment workflows, and clearer financial visibility for store owners and accountants.
This release targets real retail challenges, including promotions, partial payments, customer credit handling, and invoice tracking — all wrapped in a clean, fast, and intuitive POS interface.
Every option can be managed from the Settings page in the sidebar, giving you fast access to all configurations.
1. Advanced Discount Engine
Now you can manage discounts in two powerful ways:
Item-Level Discount
Apply a discount directly on any item — by percentage or fixed amount.
Perfect for promotions, special customers, or manager approval.
Invoice-Level Discount
Apply a discount to the entire order with one click.
Fast, consistent, and no manual price edits.
2. Flexible Payment Methods
Different customers pay differently — now POSNext supports:
Full Payment
Partial Payment
Pay using Customer Credit
Cashiers can immediately view the customer’s available credit and settle the order accordingly.
This gives businesses more control over credit sales, loyalty programs, and installment-friendly workflows.
3. Clear Invoice Status
Every invoice now displays its status in real time:
Fully Paid
Partially Paid
Unpaid
This helps cashiers and managers identify pending payments instantly.
4. Smart Filtering in Invoice History
No more scrolling or searching manually.
Filter invoices by:
-
Paid / Partially Paid / Unpaid
-
Date range
-
Customer
-
Invoice totals
-
And more…
This makes end-of-day reporting, reconciliation, and account follow-ups much easier.
