I have created a Product Bundle in ERP called “ACC BUNDLE” which contains three components: MER, MPE, and RL. The bundle displays correctly in the Packing List section of the Delivery Note with individual item quantities and rates, but I noticed the bundle itself shows a total rate of ₹0.00 in the main Delivery Note Items section.
My question is: if I need to change the price of one or more of the individual component items in the future, will this affect the bundle’s selling price? I want to understand the relationship between component prices and bundle pricing to avoid any issues with invoicing and customer billing. Should the bundle have an independent selling rate that’s separate from its components, or will changing component item prices automatically update the bundle price? What’s the best practice for managing bundle pricing when component costs change over time? I’m concerned about maintaining profit margins and ensuring consistency between what’s shown in the Packing List and what’s charged to the customer on the invoice.
