I needs to rename the attendance status “Work from Home” to “Work on Sunday”. When I tried to do it by customizing the option values of the status field in the attendance form, it give the following error.
So, how can I rename this?
If you only want to rename it, you could try using the “Translation” DocType to rename “Work from Home” to “Work on Sunday”.
Apart from that, I don’t think there exists a way to rename it without affecting related functions.

Just apply translation for Work From Home to Work on Sunday. So you don’t need to do any customisations and will not break any standard flow.
