Buzz has been in the works for a long time. It all started with a set of livestream on on our YT Channel! Buzz is an open-source event management platform built on the Frappe Framework.
Frappe has already been using Buzz to manage all their events! If you attended any event by Frappe in the last year, there’s a good chance that you’ve already used Buzz either while registering for an event or submitting a talk proposal.
Now, we wanted everyone to be able to use Buzz for their own events too, without hosting your own instances. We are happy to announce buzz.events, a simple place to manage and host your events. Of course, you can still install it as a Frappe app from Frappe Marketplace (Pilot).
If you’re a community looking to organise events and bring people together, buzz.events is built for you. It’s free to use, just sign up, and start hosting! Buzz comes with everything you need to run an event, including RSVPs, CFPs, custom forms, bulk emails, and much more.
