Serial Number Warranty Details

Earlier, while we were creating the serial numbers of any items, the warranty details of the items were fetching from the item master as we define the warranty period of the item under inventory tab of the item master.

But in V15, The warranty details i.e. warranty period and warranty expiry date of any item is not getting auto fetched. Generally if we have created a serial number and warranty period is defined in the item master, then the warranty period of the item should be automatically calculated from the invoice date of the serial number.

But we have manually punch the Warranty Expiry date in item serial number. Can soneone help us in fixing this problem???

I couldn’t find any solutions to the problem till now. neither on any other thread??

i did a workaround for my client , yet i designed a solution to work with tons of customizations made for him ,

you can still get the serial from the report for the old entries ,
and in stock entry the items table you chan enable the checkbox for using serial no
the same old way ,
