Unable to delete Sales Invoice due to linked GL Entry — How to solve?

Hi,
I am facing an issue in ERPNext. When I try to delete or cancel a Sales Invoice, it shows an error: “Cannot delete or cancel because Sales Invoice ACC-SINV-2025-00003 is linked with GL Entry 8f1e0c9cac.”
I would like to know the proper steps to either delete the Sales Invoice or unlink the GL Entry properly.

Hi,

Please tick the following setting in Accounts Settings:

This will allow you to delete the Sales Invoice.
