Hi I’m new to ERPNext & have been impressed so far but have run into an issue when trying to set up a job card. I have created a work order and operations and a product BOM. However I am unable to select an Operation at all - the list shows as blank even with a work order selected, and even if I create a new operation, the operation is created but is not selectable in the Job Card set up drop down. Is there something I’m missing? Many thanks.
It may be worth checking that the Operation is actually linked to the BOM and included in the selected Work Order. In ERPNext, the Job Card generally gets its available operations from the Work Order, so creating an Operation separately may not make it selectable. I would also verify the Workstation, BOM version, and that the Work Order has the expected operations before creating the Job Card again. If everything looks correct, checking the browser console or ERPNext logs may reveal a validation or permission issue.
