using the frappe user?
Assuming your ~erpnext folder is the frappe-bench folder, you should run bench update in that folder.

I think you’re still using the Administrator user.
Try using the root user instead.
If you’re on the root user, your console should show:
root@Server
Not:
Administrator@Server
Alternatively, if you know the password for the Administrator account, execute:
sudo -i
By the way, how did you install your frappe-erpnext instance? Was it working before hand?
on root i can run command directly as bench update --reset?
yes it is working before
1.run su root - to switch to root folder.
2.run cd xxx/yyy/erpnext to go to your bench folder: erpnext
3.run bench update --reset
i had reinstall bench… now how i can install new update in it?
