V7 update error "App <<<<<<< is not installed"

Hi, I have following error when I try to do bench update. The ‘<<<<<< HEAD’ seems like a residue from my previous commit actions. How do I find and clean this?

@Evaldas_Pabreza,

You have conflicts in your code, remove the conflicts commit then run the bench migrate.

Thanks,
Makarand

But how do I know, in which files should I look for these conflicts? I have committed everything successfully, but stil get the error on bench update.

Thanks.

Just search for “<<<<<<” in the repo.

Don’t have an idea how to search for it. I am using WinSCP. Does it have a function to search in text of documents?

By the way, I have restored my server data (except MySQL) but still cannot get rid of the “Updating” page:

Can you help please?
I have already restarted server, restarted nginx, cleared cache.

I understood that this ‘Update’ status is somwhere saved in the database. I have created a second site on port :82 and connected the same database and see the same ‘Updating’ badge. Please let me know, how to remove it and launch the website?

In your Ubuntu terminal console where you run ‘bench update’ try this

frappe@erpnext:~/frappe-bench$ find . -type f -name *.py | xargs grep "<<<"
./apps/frappe/frappe/database.py: frappe.log("<<<< query")
./apps/frappe/frappe/database.py: frappe.log("<<<< query")

On Windows one option is to install https://cygwin.com

solved by removing that

<<<<<<<

from erpnext/patches.txt
