We are coming closer to our next big release of ERPNext. Here is a summary of all the major changes. We will merge the master branch later today and start rolling out to hosted customer in a couple of days.
We should be able to replicate it at our end. So please give us as much information as you can. Please see it from the point of view of the person receiving the communication.

Looks good Rushabh. Liked the change in the forms. I think that would help a lot. Most imp the mobility factor, this is a big winner.
Looking forward to the launch and ALL THE BEST with the new version.

We’re trying to install the new version on a local server to tryout. The old install guide for ubuntu doesn’t work, when will it be updated?
As of now the demo looks really good! thumbs up

The next erpnext looks very good but I think some of the things are not something which are in the right direction, please note that many things are indeed in the correct direction but the ones pertaining to the detail view are somethings which would require a bit more changes.
With the advent of the new version the data entry has become more difficult, especially with the case of the sub-table in a transaction.
If we want to convert a SO with 20 items to a DN and want to make DN only for say like 4 items then now it has become very difficult, since the description is not shown in the item table view and hence a person needs to go to the Print Preview and then get back to edit mode to delete those lines.
This scenario becomes even more so bad in case the transaction does not have a print preview like in the case of a stock entry, now in this case if we want to check 20 items and their available stock items in the warehouse then we need to click 20 lines to check the same, instead earlier we just used to scroll to that column and thats it.
The New Tags is great but when they show up in the list view they should be in highlighted color as they used to be earlier and were easily picked but now the tags generally merge with the background.
Comments: The latest comment used to come on TOP of the transaction, now again it has been moved to the bottom which does not look a step in the right direction. Also the other things like assigning a task and adding attachments should be in the top instead of the bottom.
We are trying to come to terms with the new update and though it is indeed a great addition but still it lacks some things which could probably be implemented in the near future.

I would like to add another thing that deleting comments is not a good addition since comments should become the permanent thing like in the old version, if we want something to be removed then why not add TAGS, since comments are used by us as a permanent marker on the transactions or masters something permanent without cancelling the transaction.

You can control Comment delete permissions from the Comment DocType (via Permission Manager)

You can select which items are shown in the Grid by the "In List View" property

Sure this is a good suggestion - they should be high-lighted - please raise GitHub issue for this.
Comments: The latest comment used to come on TOP of the transaction, now again it has been moved to the bottom which does not look a step in the right direction. Also the other things like assigning a task and adding attachments should be in the top instead of the bottom.
We can bring that back - or may be we can show last comment on hover. Please add a GitHub issue for this.
