Will a server update command continue running if the SSH session drops abruptly?

Hi everyone,

I was updating my cloud server via MobaXterm when my internet connection suddenly cut out, causing the terminal window to close. Since the server is hosted in the cloud, will the update command continue executing in the background, or did it terminate when my SSH session disconnected?

I had run bench update command to update my custom app.

Any insights or advice on how to verify the status would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi @BurhanuddinNathdwara

In my experience the processes you are running also terminate if your SSH closes

run bench list-apps to double check

try bench version (not bench –version)

If that does not work try
