Ultimately I’m going to go with this genius recommendation from that thread:

I have a solution. First create a new account on erpnext.com as a free user and setup it. Now take backup of database. Do the process of erpnext installation on ubuntu. after installation dont use website. just restore database. Login using id password which was created on online account.

I would like to use the setup_complete(args) RPC that @revant_one suggested, but I would need all those different data points to be documented. Is that available somewhere?
