I’m an Electronics Engineer with expertise in high-tech embedded and IIoT product development, product lifecycle management (PLM), project management, and new product introduction to manufacturing (NPI).

I am passionate about helping small engineering and manufacturing businesses operate effectively and efficiently, and one of the best ways to do that is to start with a solid foundation using ERPNext.

To assist with evangelizing and demonstrating ERPNext, I implemented ERPNext for the fictional Swift Construction Company (SCC). The SCC is representitive of many small to medium engineering and manufacturing businesses, and the implementation includes details typical of real world implemementations, including a multi-level hierarchical product BOM with a variety of unit of measures (UOM), controlled sources for raw material, and historical data expected of a going-concern such as purchase orders, inventory, manufacturing orders, sales orders, payments, receipts, etc.
