I’m a seasoned IT Governance, Project Assurance and Programme Management professional, with more than 17 years of overall experience and more than 14 years of professional IT experience in IT Governance, IT Project and Programme Management and Assurance, and IT Solutions Delivery.

I started out as a developer and love technology and art in almost equal measures. I still am an avid coder, and also a wild life and nature photographer in my spare time. I picked up fishing as a hobby in Oman, and have been hooked on it ever since (pun intended), and love the outdoors.

I’m also the founder of the Appropriate Technology and Sustainable Development Institute (ATSDI), a permaculture research centre in India. As a hobby, I also review contemporary movies on an online group MovieMoths, and have my own YouTube channel which features DIY projects and tutorials.

I’m currently empanelled with MAGE IT Training and Consulting Private Limited, as Principal Consultant and Lead Trainer. I was earlier deputed as IT Governance and IT PMO Consultant at the Ministry of Manpower, Sultanate of Oman, and served as the Lead Editor for Social Media for Oman Governmant Agencies (SMOGA), developed by the Sultan Qaboos University, Sultanate of Oman.

I served as the Director at ISACA® Muscat Chapter for CGEIT/CRISC Certifications, ISACA® International volunteer, PMI® International and PMI®-Oman volunteer. I’m currently the Board Member of Managing Committee of ISACA® Mumbai Chapter, (in the same building of the Frappe HQ), and serve as the Education Chair, Jt. Program Chair, and the Newsletter Editor.

I have delivered many seminars in academic as well as professional forums. I also have authored technical research papers and articles, and has been published in international journals and magazines. I also host several informative videos online, on IT Governance and Project Management.
