Absent Deduction

Dear Gents
i am using HR Module to manage company salaries, i need to know how to make the software deduct absent days from the employee salary
i entered two days for one of my employee as absent days but when i generate salaries the software ignored these two days and calcullated full amount for the employee
can you please help me to setup my software to deduct this amount automatically

but what the purpos of attendance tool in salary process, i guess it has no link with salary process
attendance tool only to track employee attendance as record in the software
