At the bottom of a doc, it generally just says that this person edited the doc but it does not show details of what changes were made by the person or does not record activity performed. Is there any audit trail available in system that can help track / record user activities and identify what action / changes were performed by the respective users.
Yes, you can. Change tracking is a doctype option, and you can set it on or off for each doctype individually. Many come with the value set on by default, but others don’t.
On a production system, the easiest way to turn change tracking on is to use the “Customize Form” tool. Right at the top, there’s a checkbox that says “Track Changes”, if you turn that on, the text at the bottom will list individual changes.
