Add custom field does not assign name v5

Hi,

when customizing a form from Setup → Customize Form is possible to add a custom field, but the name is not populated.

As a workaround, is possible to create a custom field from Setup → Custom Field → New

Field Name for the Custom Field is set based on value in the Label field.

Thanks, yes we know, but is not working when adding the field from the Customize Form.

Works fine in our test account. Are you getting any error message?

No, not an error. It is just saving the field OK but without assigning the name.

Maybe because of the upgrade? We were upgrading from v4 to v5? We noticed that the custom fields that we had in v4 were not showing because the “Insert after” field was empty after the migration.

Anyway, with the workaround described works fine.
