How to add earning types and deduction types in salary structures as the new ERP does not have those segments separately & also how to automate the TDS ,ESI and salary advance amount for the same ?

you can add new “Salary Component” first by keeping Earning and Deduction types.
For TDS ,ESI etc you can add formula for that on salary structure.

In Version 5 and 6 ,you can add new Earning and Deduction type.
‘Formula’ section is not available in V-5 and 6 ,but it is in V-7.1.5
There are separate tables for Earnings and Deductions.
I am not sure if I understand what you mean by this.

But in ERPNext: v7.0.34 & Frappe Framework: v7.0.30 - this is not available.
I don’t think so that is possible, but can you share the screenshot?
ok I see what your are talking about. Those two doctype are deprecated now. Instead we have Salary Components, you can set type within component now.
The type is not there within salary component as well.
Please update and try again. I think it was released in later version.
