Add / Edit a voucher type in Journal Entry

Dear all,

I’d like to customize the journal entry by adding some other voucher types into the docType, but I’m not sure if it would affect to some functions in ERPNext or not. Anybody please let me know that is it possible to do this? For example, I’d like to add “Sales Entry” or “Forex Entry” into the voucher type list.

Please enter new Custom Select field. The option in the standard Voucher Type field, options are not customizable.

So, if I create a new custom field, what is the main voucher type supposed to be? it is “Journal Entry”, isn’t it?

Yes. Journal Entry should be fine.
