Allow Multiple Shift on Same Date option in HR Settings is Not working

and this is the shift type

now i have one employee who will go for 1 hour lets at 7 to 8 and then he will go 11 to 12 in this case i m not able to assign multiple shifts

even though i have set different times

we have come to a conclusion that multiple shift can be assigned but the time should not be overlapping so we made seperate shift type for different time periods and this is working fine now
