"Allow on Submit field"

Hi
I have two V15 servers. On the one, I observe correct behaviour for a field
that has “Allow on Submit” ticked i.e. Purchase Manager / Purchase User can
edit the "Required by " date.

But on the other server, Purchase Manager / Purchase user cannot edit the
“Required by” date.

Under Role permissions, the permission settings are the same.
Am i missing something ? Please help.

Maybe try to check “Required by” field perm level.

Yes, I have checked that and it seems in order

Update :

I have been investigating this and it seems that what is affecting it, is when you define a workflow. So for docs that has a workflow, a user cannot edit a “Allow on Submit” field ??? Even if the user has the correct role , based on the workflow.

a Bug ??
Anyone else perhaps noticed this ??
