[ANNOUNCEMENT] Introducing Enhanced Sidebar

Hello Frappe Community,

I’m excited to announce the launch of a new community app: Enhanced Sidebar!

What is Enhanced Sidebar?

The Enhanced Sidebar replaces the standard Frappe sidebar with a custom version that focuses on organization and quick access. It allows users to:

  • Add Custom Links: Easily add direct links to any Frappe/ERPNext Doctype, Report, or even external web pages.

  • Create Categories: Group your links under custom-named sections (e.g., “Daily Tasks,” “Month-End Reports,” “External Resources”) to reduce clutter.

  • Improve Workflow: Consolidate all your necessary links into one customized navigation hub for maximum efficiency.

Key Features

  • Customization: Full control over the links that appear in your sidebar.

  • Categorization: Organize links into logical groups for a cleaner interface.

  • User-Friendly: Simple interface for adding and managing your links.

Great job! This is useful for v15 instances. As of v16 custom sidebars per workspace / module / app are natively supported.
