Any idea why so many forum users avatars are broken?

Or is it just something on my end for viewing the forum?!?

When I look at the forum users this is what I see now.

There are many avatars that show a broken link.

Anyway… just thought I would ask. Didn’t see anything in the forum about broken avatars, but maybe I was searching the wrong terminology.

I thought it was just me!

Perhaps it is related to the mysterious Gitter disappearance? The icons are not broken on my system.
